Well it didn't work. Tried to get away from the memories.

Went to Jordanelle at the north end at the end of the road. Caught a zillion perch and one good bass. Used small white curly tail. Didn't try anything else. Had to leave early. Too painfull!!!!!!!!!!! Bud's memories (or bud himself) wouldn't leave me alone!!!!!!!!!1 Not much of a report for you guys to use. I did see some very big smallies swimming around i about 3 ft of water but just couldn't get into it. They're there! Suspect they are becoming selective with the abundance of minnows and perch. Minnows breaking the surface.

This will probably be the last post until I get it together. The only medecine that I can think of is a new Bud and time!!!!!!!!!!!!

Any information on Golden puppies or young enough for complete bonding, hunting stock, large boned, big head, long legged, etc., send me info. I can sen pictures of Bud for reference. There is not much in Utah at all! Willing to travel anywhere in the Rochy Mountain/West States. Must see both parents!!!!!! Will be very selective to fill Bud's footprints. Just thought I'd try and ask. This is the only medicine that I can think of that will work for me.

Leaky, I lost my dog several years ago and never could adopt another one ( couldent find one to tak ehis place) untill recentley. Like IFG I got my new dog GRIZZ from an adoption group. They are a really good way to go. It seems that they know you saved there life and seem to have a little more love to give. You might want to consider that and its kinda nice cause you can pick up a dog that is past the house breaking stage but still young enough to train.

Thank you very much for the sites and suggestion, but----------. There are basically three things to prevent me to adopt, at least for now. Not beyond consideration though. First - he's got to be from a hunting strain which includes structure (big head, rangy, large, big chest, etc.), coat (way different from show) and both parent background. He's going to spend about 6mos every year with me hunting. Fishing for 12mos every year. Second - health (hip x-rays, etc.- known golden problems), both parents again. Third - I want to raise him from a pup to assure complete bonding.

I just depends on your price range. For me free is best, but to find what you really you usually have to spend a little or a lot.

We have minature dashounds, one we bought was flown in from Missouri, the other was bred locally.
