This was my dad's twenty second year on the Yellowstone river in the Uintas. In all those years we have never seen so much water in the river. The ranger told us that most of the campgrounds have been closed this summer due to high water. One of the campgrounds was just opened two weeks ago.

Fishing with flies was awsome this year although each day the fish wanted something different then the day before. Beetle patterns worked well the first and last day. In between they liked hopper’s, Brassie’s and finally a gold prince. Spinners worked some while the good old worm could hardly buy a bite this year.
