I started walkin the banks at 9:00 this morning and finally nabbed this super-genius bass I've been trying to land for a while now - Just spooked and picky about everything I've thrown him until he hit the chatterbait today. Look at the shame in his face

The one in the bottom pic was VERY good size, really put up a fight. I know a lot of people are a little finicky about visiting the wash, but it has one of the funnest bass fishing environments - the river is lined with reeds that the bass hide in, so ripping jigs and buck tails up current just KILL out there, you can see the these bold bass actually dart up river to get them its incredible.

just so you know, the wash is now one of nevada's "UNFISHABLE" waters.

[quote 4poundonly]Oh no don’t get me started guys. The whole reason they denied anglers the opportunity to fish “the wash” is because the water is not safe for human contact. NDOW obliviously made this rule just in case somebody consumes a fish and gets sick.

Rules like this are pointless people are going to do what they want regardless. Honestly I think the wardens are too lazy to go in there to write a simple ticket. Its way to vegetated and someone could easily hide in there.

I say fish at your own risk. Just my two cents.

By the way nice fish Ihunt be safe brotha and remember Haters Gonna Hate!

I totally agree with you. It is a legal thing to cover there a**
