hey yall
my name is noe, i just moved to idaho from texas about 3 or 4 months ago. i am living in the small town of aberdeen. im trying to find new places to fish and maybe a fishing buddy, my old one moved to minnesota (lucky him lol). iv tried fishing a few places nearby but its been slow going for the most part. if anyone knows some good places near southeast idaho id love the advice and maybe make a few friends while im at it.

Welcome to BFT. I live in Rexburg, but make it down there every once in a while.

I love the snake r. below American Falls Res, but it depends on the time of year and water flow.

i def have to try out below the dam, just fished on the beach above the dam a few days ago, stayed there for about an hr and caugh a small smallmouth bass and saw 2 rainbows taken out on worm and marshmellow but no trout for me that day. back in texas i did mostly bait and lure fishing off the shores. i dont have a boat so im stuck on the shore still unless i want to use some little rubber rafts my gf's family has lol. i am trying to learn to fly fish but seems all ive caught so far is trees and bushes but im still trying lol
