hit dc with utwalleye and my son cody tuesday. launched at 6 am headed north. casted raps to shallow water. chuck p[opped the first eye then my boy got in the fun i just kept washin lures. after they eatch had a few the w came right on time around 10ish. we tied on some deep divers and headed to the river chanle. started trolling. popped a good fish. they kept hitting till the w stopped at 7. we then went back to casting shallow durring the sun set i went sasy shad and picked up a few moore we ended up keeping 9 over 15 in with 3 over 20 including my 25.

Glad to see the Walleys are coming out to play. Chaleston is about the only place with fish in Deer Creek. Did you catch/see anyone catch any Trout? What color were you guys using up there? Don't worry with my down pontoon I wont be heading up there anytime soon.

there was a few trout caught west from the island resort boat ramp. we didn't catch any trout. don't know what they were using.

ya but not long enouff we had to head home just as the moon was comming out. walleye 30 is wha we call it. would have been realy good fishing in the moon up shallow.
