Looking for info on fishing around parma and homedale area. I am pretty new to the area, is this area of the snake worth fishing. I have a 18' boat with a 25hp motor. Looking for just a quick place I could hit after work some nights. Any info would help, type of fish, time of year Thanks grizz

The fishing for smallmouth has been red hot in the Snake recently. I fished just above Homedale last week, and had 22 fish before 11 AM, including a 17" fish and 2 16 inchers. I'd guess you could fish anywhere from Weiser upstream at any time of day, and have a great time with the smallmouth.
Note that the river is totally in Oregon for a while between the Boise River junction and Homedale. You'd need an Oregon license in that stretch.
