Hey, I am new here, teen fisherman from the Boise, ID region, pretty new to the sport, but I love fishing, always looking for tips and suggestions, as well as good fishing spots!

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has ever fished Hubbard Reservoir near Kuna, ID? Me and my family could see it, but it was not easy to access, if you dont want to trespass it looked like you had to haul through a bunch of brush and stuff. I heard it has whitefish, brown trout, sunfish and even sockeye salmon (uhh huh, sure) I was just wondering if anyone could give me any fishing tips for different times of the year, good spots, and of course ANY info on Hubbard Reservoir, thanks![Wink]

ive only driven by it several times and its no more than a 100 yard pond. definitely too warm for trout family. if anything it has largies and bluegill but i think its affected hard by drought years. you can walk to it from a parking area on the east side i think without trespassing.

[indent]Hubbard resevoir is overflow for lucky peak. It is also right in front of my house. There used to be bass in it untill 1977 during the drought when it went dry. You can access it from Stewart road or deer flat. If you take eagle road south till it ends, take a right on Hubbard and follow the road around to the left, you will see a bend in the road, A high berm on the left side is the backside of the res. Some people park there and walk up the bank to the water. Lots of geese and swans winter there.
Lots of bird watching, but I do not think there is fish anymore.
