You can take my report from the other night and step it up a notch. Top water fishing was amazing for the last hour and a half before dark tonight. Water clarity has improved immensely even from saturday. Tonight I started off throwing pink cahills in a size 18 and did well with them. Caught lots of 12-14 inchers like these in the side channels.

Got broke off and while tying back on I thought the naturals looked a little bigger than my fly so I tied on a 16..... What a difference. Started to fool the bigger guys. Last hour no pics were taken. Too many fish on and the fishing was just too fast. I had a 6 cast set that I hooked up every cast with cuttys that the smalles was around 15 and the largest close to 19. Just great fishing right before dark.
We do all of our fishing above byington boat ramp. And on evening trips we rarely make it above lufkin flats
