The boss ( wife) wants to go fishing on Saturday, i am looking for a report to see if anyone has been there lately and has been catching any walleyes? Would be leaving Boise to get there. So, not sure if it would be good to leave early ( like 3 or 4a.m. ) so we could be on the water by 6 or 7 and then fish till noon-2:00p.m. then go home.
or go down around 3:00 in the afternoon, fish the evening and into the middle of the night then come home early sunday morning? All reports and or Ideas would be greatly appreciated. i do have a 17ft ranger....so could reciprocate on another trips to someone like ( Ron ) who does not fish from a boat. Thanks, Chuck

Hey I got a boat! From my last trip the trout were biting early. The bass were biting all day long. I started to catch walleyes about 10:00 am. The bite got better late in the afternoon and I limited out fast. That was a couple weeks ago things change fast down there. PM me. Ron

Okay, it ended up being Sunday instead of Saturday.
Got up at 2:30....was on the water by 8:00 okay, had the first fish in the boat by 8:00. Ron would call it a dandy ( if slime rockets could be called such a thing ) over 18 inches and close to 3 lbs. a real pig. Wife will eat well on what I would have thrown back ( the small slime rockets ) caught many slime rockets, a perch, a few walleye ( all cigar sized ) and numberous small mouth in the 10-11.5 inch range. all on the same bait.
Had a boatload of wind, got the worst wind burn I have had in years. finally left around 1:00 for the lovely drive back to kuna.
