I had a family reunion with the in-laws in Driggs over the weekend and I snuck away for an hour to try out the river. I had stopped in at world cast anglers and they said the fish were hitting pmd's that had a slight tint of green to the body. So, I tried some of them and I didn't have any luck. The fish were rising when I first got there, but they immediately stopped when it began to sprinkle. But I had a good time practicing my cast and mending line. I definitely would like to fish the Teton more, it sure it pretty country, and I hear it's even prettier in the canyon section.

Anyways, all in all the hour went by really fast.

By the way, there were tons of people on the river in the valley. Too many for my liking. [:/]

A buddy of mine and I fished the Teton on friday for a few hours and caught a bunch of them on hopper patterns. I am still trying to perfect my timing on the hookset and would have caught several more if I was more experienced. The fishing was awesome because on almost every take you could watch the fish come from the bottom and follow the fly before taking it. needless to say I pulled a number away before the fish even took it.

Prontotp-tell me more! Were you in the canyon, the uppervalley or the lower valley? I am in need of a teton fix, but it is going to be a couple of weeks before I get back out.
