hey yall

well i got lucky, my gf told me we can go camping/fishing this weekend. i was thinking that it might be a good time to go up to the box canyon up by island park. iv read some postings on some fishing report websites and they say that the box canyon is fishing well, especially on fly hopper patterns. has anyone been then recently and if so any suggestions? also are there any special regulations for that area (mostly box canyon and last chance), iv never fished there before and not familiar with the regs. is conventional fishing allowed or only fly fishing (my gf cant fly fish, and im not too good at it...yet lol)? if no conventional fishing allowed can anyone suggest any good camping/fishing spots in the general area hitting well that allows both fly and conventional?

i know im asking alot but i really appreciate any advice

thanks yall

The area you are wanting to fish is catch and release . No bait allowed and barbless hook . If you want less restrictions , fish above McCrea,s bridge on the North Fork or the Buffalo river or Warm river . Curt G.

Where do you live, and how far are you willing to travel?

Warm River...stimulators pattern. This is a great time to fish that river.
