Just bought my first fly rod (nothing fancy, just a starter rod) and I was wondering if anyone had any tips on what flys to use on Warm River, Birch Creek, and the Teton. While practicing casting and such on the South Fork of the Teton, I caught my first fish on a fly, the monster in the picture. I'm hooked! Haha

I would try Parachute Adams, Humpies, royal or gray wulff, small stimulators, and elk hair caddis. Also hopper imitations.
Early in the day smaller flies such as the Adams work better. As it warms up.. 11am on the Humpies to Hoppers should produce. Caddis work well as the afternoon turns to evening.
You will also need some floatant. After a fish mauls your fly it gets slimed. After you dry it off you can put a little oil like Gink on it to help it float again.
Good luck. It is a blast to see the fish coming up off the bottom to slam your fly. You will have a great time!

ANT'S also any fly tied with Wulff wings...PMDs (pale morning duns) and BWO's (Blue Wing Olives) I have caught more fish on BWO's and Cripples are killer.
But don't forget, fish feed on Scuds 24/7 365 days. Big fish are more frequent on nymphs or below the surface.
Dry fly fishing is a blast because you can see the take, but Nymphing will take a little more practice and patience. Something you might want to master.
And a tip, don't worry too much about false casting or waving the line over head as that is an open invitation to loose flies and break rod tips.
Learn to ROLL CAST. This can be done with a wall behind you, BUT, you can only practice it on water...dang, guess I better go practice some more...LOL
