Well I am wanting to go fishing this weekend but I am just not sure on where i want to go!!! I am wanting to go out on my tube so lake or reservoir is preferd!!
I am going to bringing my Dad along and he is fairly new to the float tubing..
I'm thinking we would be willing to travel up to about 2 hours away at the furthest!!! one way..
Also catching fish would be a huge plus i know where i can go to catch fish close by but im just in a toss up on where I want to go so im looking for some ideas!
so if you have any input please help me out here..

thanks[fishon][fishon]

Jeremy, I am going to say that you should go to Newton or Pineview. The only reason I suggest that is because I know you have always wanted to catch a Tiger Muskie and if I am not mistaken they are within two hours of you. From what I understand plenty of perch and bass to go after there also. I think the moon is bright this weekend also so maybe consider Alexander. Not much of an adventure but could be good for the catfish with the moon. The only "mountain" lake I can think of within two hours of you would be PaliSades which can be a tough lake to catch fish from and access is limited for your tubes. Others will offer up other places to consider.

I haven't been on any of the reservoirs in quite a while, so I don't know on current conditions. Usually any of the Preston area lakes are ok, and there are enough in the area that you can move if one doesn't look good.

I haven't even heard a report on Twin or most of the others. Earlier I did hear that Foster had some nice trout.
