Took the kids to Utah Lake to go tubing and waterskiing. Anchored the boat at the inlet to the Provo River to let them eat lunch before getting in the water. I threw out a spinner and started catching white bass. The kids got into the fish and had so much fun catching fish off the back of the boat they didn't want to tube or ski.

Caught most of the fish just swinging a spinner and a crankbait back and forth with our poles without casting. I posted a video on youtube to show you how easy it was.

Caught 30-40 before it got cloudy and wanted to get home with plenty of time to see the Utes lose a close one.

Those White Bass sure do put up a great fight for their size. They are fun to catch when none of the other species in the lake are bitting. Cool video too. Thanks for your post.

Wish they were a little bigger but they still fight well and are great eating. After not catching any wipers the last couple outings, it was nice to catch a bunch of their little brothers.
