My dad and I are planning a fishing trip to Oneida the first week of October. We are killing two birds with one stone...fishing and watching the races at Syracuse!!!

Looking for some info on what type of fishing is better this time of year on Oneida. We want to leave the stuff we will not use at home.

Bass...what colors are hot? topwater, spinners, jerkbaits?

Walleye...trolling or casting? colors? spoons or harnesses?

Crappie or other panfish...small spinners, crankbaits, jigs? colors?

Any info would be appreciated as we want to have a good experience at Oneida!!!
