Howdy, fellow fisherpeople. Just wanted to formerly introduce myself and to thank those who advised me on my float tube purchase--I went with a Togiac. (A local outlet made me an offer I couldn't refuse ... so I didn't!)

I love to fish, but since I live in Poky, travel is always required. For that reason, I've become more of a "social" fisherman the past few years, meaning I rarely go it alone.

If any of y'all are interested in meeting somewhere or carpooling, please let me know. If nothing else, I could use all the float-tubin' wisdom you care to share. [Wink]

Some additional details:
[ul][li]I have flyfishing gear, but I haven't used it in years and my skills are virtually nonexistent.[/li][li]I spin fish, but I flatten the barbs on my hooks and release virtually everything I catch.[/li][li]I'm pretty much game for whatever--any day on the water, or in the stream, is a good one by me.[/li][/ul]
Thanks and happy casting,

TT

Nice to meet you. If you ever come down to the magic valley give me a yell. Ron

Make sure you check out the floattubing forum. They will give you great advice for anything concerning your float tube.

Ditto on what IdahoRon said TexasTransplant. I too live here in the Magic Valley and do quite a bit of flyfishing in the spring and summer but in the fall I'm bowhunting and chasing birds with my dogs. Anyway, if you get down this way someday maybe we could rip a lip together

Thanks, idahoron and 2dogs! Odds are pretty good I'll be taking one or both of you up on those offers--one of my best friends lives in Twin, so I do get out that way from time to time.

Thanks again and happy casting,

TT
