I brought a crappie hit man with me today, David. All I had to do is get this guy anywhere<br />near crappie and they are caught. We fished from 7:45am.-4:45pm. The effort put forth<br />did not produce the results we had hoped for. We were at the right places at the right times,<br />but only caught stragglers all day. BG Outlaw Special was the jig. Bite improved slightly after<br />lunch, but was still slow. Most crappie were caught in 6-12 feet of water. David and I finished with<br />45 keeper crappie, all released. The largest at 13 1/4. 45 crappie felt like 15, yes I am a spoiled brat.<br />Or at least that is what I have been told. Looking foward to cooler weather to drop the water temps<br />and turn on the crappie.<br />
