Fished the last tourney of what has been a tough year for me. We had activity on the grass edge all day but only got one keeper on a spinner bait that would have went close to three pounds. I didn't hang around to weigh it in, I'm so far out of it on the points it didn't matter. Boater had no keepers. We both had 1 short fish each on the spinner bait also. It was a junk fishing day, throwing everything I could think of around the grass and even went deep for a bit. 1st place had a 17 lb bag and second was 9 lbs. Day 2 another guy came in with 17 bag that had 5 lbs on day one to win it. Unreal!!
