went to stirke yesterday with my buddy and we caught about 40 perch and crappie mixed about half and half between us. i lost my anchor. It got hung up on bottom.
Went back this morning and my buddy tossed the other anchor in and the rope broke as he did it. two anchors in two days gone. picked out a good rock and tied it up real good and used it as an anchor. we caught about another 30 perch and 10 crappie today. Lots of boats out there for a Thursday.
I did catch a nice rod and reel today on bottom, so i guess i am even for my two anchors.
Might go tomorrow for my last trip of the year. it is almost bird season.

Taking the kids out this Saturday. Can you give me an idea where you were catching the perch? If I snag an anchor I'll know who to give it to!

I was in the Procraft bass boat that had just pulled a few minutes before you caught the rod/reel. You guys were definitely putting a hurt on the perch...I couldn't keep the crappie and bass off.
