[cool][#0000ff]For those who hit the pump house area or the Knolls...and who are coming from the north...there is a new shortcut across from I-15 to Redwood Rd (Hwy 68). [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Most of us know about exit 284 on 1-15. That is the turnoff for Cabelas, Thanksgiving Point and American Fork Canyon. The next turnoff to the south is exit 282...it is posted as 2100 N. in Lehi. There is a new road across the Jordan River and the valley straight as a string to Redwood Rd. Only a couple of lights and only about 3 miles. [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Speed limit is only 40 mph but traffic flow is faster. Not sure how heavily it will be enforced. Two wide lanes on each side. Less than 4 minutes across. Then only 2 miles and another 3 minutes to the Smiths center at the intersection of Main Street Lehi. [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Fewer miles than going on to the Pioneer Crossing and fewer intersections and lights. [/#0000ff]
[#0000ff][/#0000ff]
[#0000ff]Haven't checked it out yet but looks like angler access to the Jordan River at the bridge crossings is available. Saw a couple of vehicles parked off to the side of the road near the bridge.[/#0000ff]
