just got back from 8 weeks in fairbanks Ak. burned out and needing brake..my boys asked if i cound take them fishing before i had to head out again.. (going to So. Cal today.) anyway we got up there around 10:00 am got the boat in and run down the lake to the slide area.. wind was keeping us for jigging the way we wanted to so we went up and into a canyon and jigged it up.. we did ok on just about any jig we used tipped with minnow.. fished there for about a hour the 3 of us caught about 7 fish there all tigers... we finley went over to the spring point and started wacking the fish.. most were cutt's but some tigers too.. all together me, tommy,and jonny caught about 25 fish we left at 3:30.

hey footer right now is the time!! if for no other reason then to see the colors of the trees up there right now.. wow it is beautifull up there right now.. and the tigers in there have the same colors on! lol [sly]

What were you doing in Fairbanks? I just returned from 3 weeks there also (Eielson). Hit some graylings at Chena HS but that was all i had time for. Hope you did better than I .

i was at Wainwright..and the supper 8 for 150.00 a night [shocked].......... [sly]
working 12 hours a day 7 days... 2 days off. one day it rained all day.. the other i had no car.. oh well was a good job for the most part.. cool thing was i got too see the trees change up there too and that was inpressive too!!! [sly]
