Launched boat around 2pm and started fishing around the locks with no luck, so I put on my life jacket and ran above the the RR bridge. I fished a shky head from the rockpile to the wing wall along the current break and got 1 bite and missed it. Picked up my Chatter Bait and and worked my way back down to the rockpile, I casted into the current and retreaved it really slow and felt my rod load up and set the hook. At first I thought it was a cat because of how heavy and hard it pulled, but when she jumped I knew it was a bass. Luckly, I had net out cause you no what kinda fish you will catch below the dam. I landed her and weighed, took a couple pics and released. Then caught a gar on the same lure. Went back downsteam and caught a large drum on chatterbait. That was the only 3 fish I caught. The largemouth weighed 6lbs 15oz, and drum weighed around 14lbs. Those 2 alone were over 20lbs.
