Made it out on Sat for the first part of the day. Got on the water around 7:30 at CFP. Headed for some grass beds to see if there was any top water action. Couldn&#39;t find much going on. Moved to a couple of different spots, most with grass. Finally managed a chunky LM on a worm around the grass. Fished hard for 4 hrs and only managed the one. Talked to several guys out on the water who seemed to be having a tough time as well. Made me feel a little better talking to folks in wrapped boats who hadn;t caught the first fish.<br /><br />All in all, a great morning to be on the water. Man, there were a lot of boats out!<br /><br />Sounds like I may need to try some crappie fishing to have an option on the slow bass days. (Not that Crappie fishing is any easier)
