how long do they stay up in the creeks to spawn? will next week be to late to chase them?

Spawning usually goes right on through November. You should be fine.

My buddy and I have been fishing for Browns the past few weeks. We have our secret spot in the rock creek toward kimberly where they have really been biting. Yesterday we caught about 30 in the few hours we had to fish. Good size fish too.

I use to frequent a spot on the Snake that I watched people pulling 30" and up browns. Been awhile since I went there, but man I remember those days. They used those brown paper grocery bags and you would see the head and the tail sticking out...awesome!!!
