Well first day on Chick we fished grass like everyone else. Pretty much threw everything at them. Finally at 10, Tim boated one on a spinner bait. That would be the only one of the day. Day two on Nickajack was a struggle also, but thanks to Tim we put five fish in the boat. There was no rhyme or reason to it. We caught them on frogs, (Jerry Malone) jigs, swim baits, punch baits...you name it. Tim really worked hard to put us on the fish. We had the highest second day weight, but could not overcome the poor showing on Chickamauga. Finished in fourth place. Big thanks to Tim for all his efforts!!! Look forward to next year. I am ready for some winter time crappie fishing now.
