Fishing was really good for smaller sized Hybrids. They wouldn't leave us alone. We fished the north shore areas.

The fish were much smaller on average this trip and there is an abundance of 11-13 inch hybrids willing to bite anything. They would swallow lures, flies and I mean deep. They need to smarten up quickly.
We caught some nice ones but overall the quality was down.
The weather was tough on Saturday but Sunday was nice. We didn't get too many pics but we took a few.

This was the earliest we have been up there and we'll go back to our regular dates next year. The weeds are just coming up and it was a mess. Give it a few weeks and they should be up and ashore.

It's always great to be at Henry's. We can't wait for our next trip.

I Forgot to add these last few pics. We ran across a herd or 20-25 Elk that were crossing the road right in front of us. We had to stop and let them by. Nice cap to a fun trip.

I was up there also this past weekend, We did very well Friday through Sunday. It was a little cold for a couple of days but Sunday was great and warm, almost pure glass. Caught most fish in the 20" to 23" range mostly cuts and brooks. We had to kick out all the coots, but found best success in the Duck Creek area. Picks are soon to come. Found trolling flies above the weed line to be very effective.
