Candi and I hit the lake at 7:45am. Somebody wished they had brought their fancy<br />Cabelas gore-tex! Poor baby! Now you get to wear my spare clothes and look like an<br />extra from Pirates of the Carribean. We started fishing a dropoff from 6ft to 20ft. deep,<br />using 1/6 oz. jigs with Outlaw Special baby shad and slab slayers. We probably caught 40<br />crappie here, but only 6 keepers. I will be back! Once again, had trouble finding numbers<br />of good fish. Tried a series of my pet spots with no luck, then found a dock in 8ft. of water<br />and started catching nice crappie, then I get the news that the pirate queen has to be home at 1:00.<br />I finally find crappie and then the party is sabatoged. Thank you,CU! We finished with 22 keeper <br />crappie, and probably caught 60 shorts.
