I visit this forum almost every day, but I comment very little. I thought today I would go fish and take some photos so I could contribute to this forum a little bit. And lets face it the fly fishing side doesn't get a lot of threads.

I hit a local stream not far from my house. I try to go about 3 or 4 times a month in the fall to this place. Today I fished a little farther upstream than I usually do and I was glad I did.




I caught several browns and rainbows including my personal best brown on this river











Most were caught on either a Adams dry, Parachute Black Ant or a BH Pheasant Tail.

Nice fish...lots of anglers overlook small streams like that. The browns are in spawn mode around SLC's mountainous rivers. They sure are aggressive and fight pretty good for their size too.
