I have hit mead and fished before the sunrises all through the day to midnight.... It seems all my luck has been right as the sun goes down... But I see most of you guys having better luck before the sun comes over the mountains... What's been your best time this last month??? I'm prolly gonna hit up the lake early Sunday morning and cross my fingers for some action...

Early morning. I like fishing right at grey light. We caught about 25 bass in four hours last weekend all near 33 hole. It was a dink fest though.

Last Saturday, hit Government Wash at dawn. There were boils everywhere. After about an hour the bite was off. I went to 33 Hole and the sonar found baitfish about 30 ft down at around 40-50ft water. Got hits on a spoon vertical jigging while drift fishing but it was sporadic. The wind was blowing and I quit after getting blown into shore too many times. I'm on a kayak and I didn't want to drop anchor. I probably should have used the windsock.

I have the best luck in the early morning but also do okay in the evenings. Just a matter of finding the fish!
