Been kicking it back at HBSP for a couple of days and got tired of hot dogs and beenie-wienies, needed some soul food so went out mid-morning checking the roadbeds on the TL area....bottom line is the small fish have vacated and few and far between on the 12 inchers. What fish we did catch were biting very subtle like their bellies were already full of minnows. Did catch an exciting acrobatic smallmouth by the flagpole hole. Ended up having to switch from pearl to ghastly to get enough vittles for a maddog's fish camp fish fry ... thanks to polo-dog for showing me a little bit about dock shooting, I need alot more practice at this....MD
