Was wondering what section of the Weber you were going to hit. Theres section Ive been avoiding due to the resent story in the news and wanted to know was open to fishing now ?

i stopped by on the way home from strawberry saturday for all of 25 minutes. i tried to see if my bro-in law was out in the field but he wasent, the middle section looks clear and nice flows. i stopped and fished in hennefer and for 25 minutes of work i got 2 browns. the water is a touch higher then normal and stained, not muddy, but stained.

DOH, I actually dont even fish that section anymore too crowded for me [:p] I usually head further in the back there under the highway but the last time I was up there they had the road closed off.
I saw the story & pictures of the bridge on the news thought it might be taped off for a crime scene didn't want to travel up there ( Herriman to Tag ) to be kicked out and So if Southerbass was headed up there could kindly give us a report.
Word of advise if you do go up there don't leave any finger prints [laugh][laugh][laugh]

I've been wanting to get up above echo, but alas, life's little obstacles that bind a dude with the invisible cords of responsibility have kept me deep in the throes of home remodeling.
I need fewer excuses and more hours on the water.
Have the big boys been moving out of the res yet?

not yet, im checking almost everyday with family and trips up there after work or during lunch

Ya if its not to much trouble that would be cool, with the price of gas and limited time hate to drive all that way for nothing.

FYI I know that about 80 clients and somewhere around 40 guides will be out fishing the Weeb and Provo rivers on Wednesday. I would guess that most will be on the middle provo, but like myself I was going to take my guys on the weeb and I know a few others will likely do the same to try and spread the fleet of guides out a little bit. Just thought I would let you know to go fish early if at all on Wednesday unless you like combat fishing. It really should not be all that bad on the Weeb. But you can bet I would not even go near lunker lane and the bunny farm areas. But, they get hammered hard already. I will be on the river today and will most likely chime back in with a small report.[fishin]

i thought the bunny farm was now private? unless im confusing two places. im thinking of the place right near hennefer.

I thought the bunny farms were on Hoysville or are those mink farms. !@#!$@

? what about Rock Creek or Yellowstone, or even Strawberry. Aren't they closer for you? Or is this another company?

We are not involved in it anymore. I think they want to keep the business in Park City.
PS: those rivers mentioned suck really bad.
