Anyone fished here before?

Nope but looks like a cool place for shore anglers like myself... I will have to take a cruise down there soon and check it out....

I have a buddy down in Bullhead that fishes the area between there and casino stretch and does well. He has pulled in a few larger trout and some nice strippers.

Got to the river around 10am on Friday. Set up camp and then when into town for supplies. Wal-Mart has almost everything you need. If you need a NV river stamp you need to go to Kmart. (they have stamps in the electronics area)
We got Trout on worms by the bridge using a Carolina rig. Early mornings the Trout are stuck in pools but the water comes up in the afternoon and more trout are caught. Stripers are caught in the am before 8:30 or 9 when the water is low just above the day use area.
The striper pics are NOT our fish but the guy who got them gave us a lot of good info. The fish looked to be about 12 and 8 pounds.
No action up by the dam, water is moving too fast.
Also it was windy the whole time and mosquitoes come out at night down by the water.

How was the boat traffic down there? I have an itch to go try and pull out a striper or two but every time i drive that way it seems the boat traffic is too heavy to troll.

We saw about 10 jet ski and two planes. Striper are early on 6" trout imatation lures.
