Full Version: Beautiful old Pflueger baitcasting reel

Last month, My grandfather was showing me some of his old fishing equipment. Some of the equipment was pre-WWII and during WWII. One of the pieces of equipment he had was an old Pflueger baitcasting reel. I have no idea where it came from, and he didn't seem to remember. I does not look pre-WWII, but it could be from the WWII years, or even from Europe, as my grandfather fought there. It is really a beautiful reel, very well made. Can anyone tell me anything about this reel? Pictures are below.

Looks like a Summit. Very nice condition. There is one no where near as nice on e-bay. What do you think? A Summit?
