I will be heading up this coming weekend, 11-13, and am wondering how it has been. If you have been up between Salmon and Corn Creek recently I would like to know how it went.

My wife and I fished Thursday afternoon until noon on Saturday. We caught 2 fish and lost several others on Thursday on the stretch from Cove cr. to Ramshead. Both were wild. Fished the same stretch Friday and Sat. and only hooked one other. Very disappointing! The other boats and bank fishers didn't do any better. We heard that fish were being caught at the Indianola to Spring cr. stretch but is seemed that there were very fish in the waters we hit. Water temp. was 38 deg. Word has it that a good number of fish just past RIggins a week ago. I hope to make another trip by month's end. Good luck and post your success on your return!

I was elk hunting up that way and threw in the rod and bobber gear in case the opportunity presented itself. I had a few hours Thursday the 3rd of November so stopped by a likely looking spot in that zone of which you are interested. I hooked five and landed four. Two were keepers and they were pretty tasty.

Went up to Salmon on Friday the eleventh. We started fishing around 8 am downstream from Salmon a few miles. Fished quite a few holes down river to below the Middle Fork, and we caught nothing. I feel like we fished pretty hard, and used rigs and techniques that I have been able to catch many fish on before, but nothing came of it. Then on Saturday we fished below Panther Creek. We fished hard until 1 in the afternoon, and only one fish was hooked into by my buddy. Broke him off before we could see it, but looked like a good fight. We decided to pack it up and head home.. Three buddies of mine stayed up and fished the rest of Saturday and most of Sunday, and managed three fish. Pretty poor weekend, but on a good note the weather never got too bad, and I had a good time with my dad and friends. Maybe next time. Good luck to anybody who decides to go out.

Sounds like I just missed it. Same area on Friday and Saturday.
