Fishing Forum

Kali and I fished C.J. today for 2 /12 hours. Caught 4 trout, 3 average sized, and one 18". Nothing like the past few years. Most of the other boats had 1-2 fish, or nothing for their efforts. Talked to a boat that spent the entire day trying to find perch or crappie, and didn't have a fish. No boats on the hump. Wow, it was cold out there. If I go back, I'm bringing the side curtains, back curtain, and Mr. Heater!! Talked to the camp host by the dam, and he told me the trout fishing never materialized like past years. Go figure. Mike

Hey Kodiak,

I went wed. with a buddy from work. Windy!!! Pulled the boat out about 12:30 went to the dam/spillway and caught perch. I caught 22 and my buddy got about 12 or 15. Catching turned out a little better because of that, but he had one decent bass and one 10" crappie from the boat and I had nothing.

May go hit the dam again next wed, but pretty much done w/ the boat unless some miraculous report comes along.
