Several of us from Utah are coming up to ice fish Henry's this weekend. We have a really nice cabin 10 minutes from Henrys for this Friday and Saturday night.
We have room for one or two more guys, paying $75 each for the two nights (a total of $75 per person). In addition, you will be able to ice fish with us. [

This is the cabin:

Comes with full kitchen and hot tub and TVs. Company incudes Dank, Orvis and Troutgas.
I will be up there ice fishing Friday morning and am confident that at least one portion of the lake will have 3-4 good inches by then. We will fish until Sunday afternoon.
Gonna be a rocking trip. PM if you would like to join.

not sure I would be that confident on good ice. May want to bring your snowmobiles as a back up plan though. Theres enough to ride up that way now.

Just called up there and the lake is mostly capped with no wind. Regardless, we know that most of the lake will be sketchy this weekend but hope to find a few spots with a solid 2.5-3.5 inches.

i was there sunday and there was open water in several places. i went to staleys county and state boat docks as well as wild rose and the hatchery all had open areas where ducks kept the water open i attempted to step on the ice at each place and it would break. good luck though i would like to hear how you did i will be up there thanksgiving weekend for a week. with the snow pushing the ice down and wind gusts up to 50 mph be careful out there and bring some rope just in case.

No Guarantees but I have no doubt you will get on the ice this weekend. It builds fast after it gets going.

I am thinking a few places will have good ice and it may take some cautious trial and error to find them. I am hoping that there won't be a bunch of inexperienced guys trying to fish it this weekend as I don't want to hear about fishermen falling in all over the lake.
I am still thinking we may be a few days early but keeping our fingers crossed.

Nope. Just wait till T-day weekend Jared and fish with the other 10,000 people. You'll get a couple fish and won't fall in. At least it's only 3' deep at Staleys though! All kidding aside, good luck and P.M. me about conditions and hot spots. Maybe on the other forum.

Good luck. In all sincerity, be careful...As they say some skydive, some base jump, I ice fish.

I have to say that I've considered going this early and just scooting my pontoon across the ice. Wouldn't it be great to get your toon frozen to the ice!? Ha, that would be a sight. Maybe I should just get one of those floating atvs meant for ice fishing.

Ever get the feeling that some people just have too much money?!
Heck of an idea, and I want one, but I know I'll never be able to afford that......
