FishingRookie and I have fished the South Fork last Friday and yesterday from about 3:30 to 6:00 and each day yielded 8 fish between the two of us in that short amount of time. Yesterday all 8 fish were browns, biggest at about 17" and several around 15". Friday yielded a few beautiful cutts around 15" as well. Its been good fishin' if you can stand the cold!

Where were you guys at last friday?

We put in at byington about noon. Fished below the rest stop and then some of the flats above it. I found a couple of pods feeding on midges and did real well throwing BWO's in 20's and then midges in 20/22s

We were catching them on Mepps Spinners. Just a little reuniting with our spinner rods after a summer of fly fishing. We were on the east side, close to the boat ramp out past wolf flats.
