I didn't remember seeing this shared here, but I thought a few of you might be interested in it. IF&G caught it (electro-fishing) near Osgood two weeks ago. They are in there, you just don't see 'em every day.

But I have seen them out of the snake...AWESOME!

I'll have to learn to tie a 10in rainbow trout streamer to interest one of those!

Forget the mouse - throw a muskrat!

Wow even if it has been scene i could see that mistaken for just a big carp. While its in the water lurking around.. them big browns are kinda slow moving.

Wow...kid must of known he was going to catch a hog..he brought his whale net with him.

I bet you could of caught that beast with one of your size 32 flies that you tied for me at the show...[Smile]

No sweat...LOL Wouldn't that be something though. The fish would have to have a death wish with 2 lb tippet.

That netting job gives whole new meaning to the term "fishing tackle"!

Could be close to the same location. Anyway, IF&G believes it's an "under-utilized" section of the river. They are surveying there for the first time ever, apparently so that it will become a more "utilized" area, which might not please some who already utilize it without crowds!
