Sport and I put in at Skull Island, and buzzed over to Soddy creek to<br />do their crappie tourney. 12 boats, 7am.-1pm., best 10 crappie. A super tough<br />day, sunny skies predicted, I don&#39;t remember seeing it. Wind was cold, and stiff,<br />on the big water it would beat your brains out. We ran all day to get our fish, no <br />one spot stood out. Earned our crappie today, I caught tarp#60, a hair under 15 inches,<br />weighing 2.08 lbs which helped push us to a win. Sport caught the first 4 good crappie,<br />and I had to pull my weight with the big one. Our total weight was 13.54 lbs, not great,<br />but enough on a tough day. Docks, dropoffs, bluffs, was our plan, we made 5-6 casts,<br />if we got nothing we moved. Thanks Jerry, for a well run tourney, we would love to come<br />back again.
