I winterized my boat already thinking that by the time I was doene hunting the weather would be to foul for me to want to take it out.

Now I am done hunting and the weather is pretty good for my 4 day holiday weekend! Sheesh!

I wonder where to go fishing close by? Are the perch biting off the bank at Strike? Fight the crowd for steelies on the Boise River?

We did our boat as well, but the good news, we still have to motorized pontoons...LOL

if it makes you feel better i havent taken out the boat for a month. i was going to go friday but wind gusts to 30 is too much. every saturday has been weather related for me not to go.

I used to have the same problem when I had an inboard/outboard. I didn't dare risk it freezing and I would spend an entire day winterizing it and then the weather would stay beautiful for another month. I don't have that problem now I have an outboard. I have already winterized by boat, but I am thinking of taking it out again on Saturday. A couple cranks after taking it out of the water and it is winterized again (except for fogging and it would probably survive without fogging).

I have an outboard too. I just don't want to unwrap the silly thing, load all my gear back it etc etc.

My pontoon has a medium slow leak. I could pull out the float tube but that would be too cold!

Yeah the weather report does look a little windy. Maybe It's a good weekend to stay home and watch college football! Boise State needs to win and Stanford, LSU, Houston and Michigan need to lose! (To make it better for BSU of course!)[]

Ditto on the football but I haven't winterized my boat yet. Just maybe there will be a few more days I could possibly get out. At least mine is in the garage and it doesn't freeze in there. [cool]

I wish I had room in my garage for my boat. Got the car & pickup in there..................

The boat is probably too long with the trailer tounge anyway... need one of those folding tounges........
