Great day on the ice! Myself and my son (Pali
es 99) have spent the past two half days on Henrys. Yesterday we managed 20 in four hours, Today we iced 30 with two 19'' Fat Brookies and the final fish of the day a 25.5'' Hybrid iced by my son! We were packing up heading for Thanksgiving dinner and bam--ten minutes later the kid had his largest fish ever.
I drove past Windrivers outpost this morning and it seemed like he was hosting a clinic or something; I was going to drop by on my way out, but he must have had an earlier dinner time than us. This was a pretty cool day. I would not even begin to tell you were I fished, because I followed Jaksonmans advice and took a long walk to untouched ice, however, I will dito the advice on paddlebugs. Bite was extremely light after 10 AM today. Now for my biggest mstake we got a pic for the contest for his Hybrid, but not his brook. Since he wanted to keep it we decided we would take a pcture at the end of the day, well that was when the Hybrid hit. You will see him holding his 19'' brook, but we don't have one with the tape on it.
