Well, I had 3 rods, a small tackle box, and a pair of pliers in my truck today because I just knew that I would be getting off work early enough to jump in the boat with my dad and Norman; (Nauticman&Labman) to chase smallmouth for a couple hours..... My plan did not work out as I had hoped because work ran later than expected. By the time I got off work, they had already taken the boat out and were heading towards the house. Since I had some gear with me, I decided to do a little bank beating and ended up landing 3 nice Brownfish. Boy that is a lot of fun when you are standing on the bank and the current is flowing at 55,000cfs+ while you are fighting a nice smallmouth. I just let them do there thing until they decide to let up a bit. I had a good time catching them.

I ended up with 3 fish better than 18". An 18", an 18 3/4", and a fish just over 19". And they were all bulging. They are eating good for sure.

I noticed that there was a little bit more stain in the water than there was on Sunday. North wind was breezy and the water was flowing nicely with a few gates spilling.

Tubes were bait of choice.

Just learned by reading his post that fchupaska drifted by me in his boat. We spoke for a minute or 2 as he drifted by.

Looking forward to a quick morning trip tomorrow. Hope to land a couple of good fish.

I took a couple of pics. If anyone is wondering, the fish are calm on the rocks and dont flop around. They are still for picture time and then I put them back in the water asap with no damage.
