Met up with my buddy and his brother who were fishing the docks at the harbor (without so much as a nibble in an hour). So, I decided to launch the boat and go look for fish. The first area we tried yielded about 10 white bass, and they were hitting very light (one tap and if you missed, they were gone). Move to our next, and final, spot. The action was fast and furious. Between the three of us we caught easily over 100 white bass, and my friend caught one small LMB. The fishing can be great right now if you can find them, but it was work tracking them down. I have heard that the whities seemed to be running a little bigger this year, and this trip proved that to me. I would say the average was right about 12".
