the last fe weeks well fishing from my boat I have seen alot of people fishing around the boat launch up into the channel. I launch out of the deer creek state park. Dont know what bait they are using but have seen people catching them.. hope that helps..

Hi Popgear. I've been to Deer Creek a couple of times this month. I fish the shore (no boat [frown]) and have had pretty good luck by the boat ramp in the State Park.
I've had good luck with nightcrawlers, nightcrawler tipped with a Power Egg, and Rapalas. I also watched a little kid reeling 'em in, using garlic PowerBait.
