Hey guys, I moved down to Utah about two years ago and I am coming home for Christmas this year. When I still lived there I took my nephew out to Rigby lake after they started stocking it. He wants to go fishing when I am there and I would like to take him somewhere close to home. So the question is was it stocked this year? Has the water level already dropped?
Thanks for any info.

I drove by Saturday and there was still plenty of water. Looks like it may be safe ice, but I can't tell you for sure. Nobody was out there when I drove by. And I am not sure about the fish stocking this year either. I was thinking of taking my daughter out there, she loves watching the fish under the ice, the water is so clear you can see straight to the bottom.

The water is dropping pretty quickly. I tried to fish it Saturday but the ice was a little too sketchy for my liking and it was steep and slick to get on. Ice was maybe 2" where I tried to fish and crystal clear. Earlier in the fall I had some really good days out there in my float tube so when it freezes over I'm assuming it will fish well. Hopefully after the next couple cold nights it will be solid enough to fish.
