There has only been a few of those stocked in SE Idaho, but could also be from the Magic region etc.

I was there today!! The ice is 5" over by the inlet. I drilled two holes and only used one of them the fishing was too fast to use bolth holes.. i caught 15+ palaminos and i didnt catch any of the rainbows.. it was fun but after awhile i got bored because of the lack of a challenge there. I felt as if i was fishing in a bucket.. so i left and gave my two holes to another fellow there with his kid.. my biggest was a big ugly broadstock around 5lbs.. smallest was around 15".. then there was this one fish i was watching down my hole that was all sorts of messed up but acted healthy just swimming around upside down had big gouges in its back. I had to keep jerking my jig away from it. The darn thing wouldnt leave it alone and i didnt want to catch it.. i started the day out by driving to american falls try over by the dam i scene a small group and another single fishermen out on the ice then i scene the small group knocking a hole in the ice with what looked like a maul and they broke through in 3 hits so i decided it was way to thin of ice for me if they are breaking through with that little effort.. i dexided to leave befor one of the three kids sliding around broke through.. they were sure testing the oce limets.. another thing comes to mind..
When you take your kids fishing on the ice dont let them wonder around on the ice its totaly unsafe.. im no one to judge but unless you like the thought of having a burial service for a child please tend more close attention to them.. i hate the idea of it myself..
