I wanted to run my boat, because it's been a while due to my trolling motor being in the shop for 4 weeks. So, I invited Norman to go with me and we met at the Rivermont ramp about 8:30 am. We started out in the lock area and didn't catch a single fish there. Must have been hit hard over the weekend. We worked our way down fishing eddies and current breaks. We used all kinds of baits and tubes worked best. Norman's "secret" lure was most effective and I'm so glad he told me about it some time ago. It got me two 18 in. keeper smallies today. Norman also caught two smallies. I also got a 16.5 in. largemouth and we caught a few spots and several drum.

The flow started out at 93K cfs and decreased to 65K cfs by the time we left. The surface temp. was 52. The water is pretty dingy (but fishable). It's more clear around the North and South Chickamauga Crk. mouths.

As always, had a good time with Labman, thanks for going with me. Norman will post some pics.

Regards, Nauticman
