Need help deciding where to go for our first ice trip of the season. I've always hit Scofield, but fishing there seems to be on the decline according to summer reports. Is it really worth the extra drive time(coming from Ogden) for the pigs in Chesterfield? Can anyone give me a suggestion or recent report?
Thanks,
Justin

] I went to Chesterfield Friday. Ice was thick but the bite was slow.
FYI. Treasurton is froze over. A friend of mine and his dad fished it today. Two fish over 25 inches. Ice is 5-7 inches near the dam. 3 inches on the north end. Very cold in cache valley this week.
Going to give Treasureton a try in the morning myself. I will post pics or video if I have good luck.

So Chester, treasureton, or scofield?

We have fished Chesty twice. Its is slow this year. However, we have landed 4 over 3 lbs. I got my best one of my life at 4 lbs.

Also just a word of warning. I have broke a couple off. They are big. Don't try using 6 lb. test at Chesterfield. You will regret it.
