Tried to post this to the FG site but permission denied...I am fishing a BASS Federation Nation Western Region tourney on FG in late May early June...I would appreciate any suggestions or advice...B.

Thats way too far away to ask for help right now, everybody is thinking ice fishing right now. Bass will be early pre-spawn, best bet is far up north in the deep creek arms. Of course, the res. is full of bass and you will/could find them anywhere. Weather is going to play a HUGE part in that early of a tournament at FG. Temps could be as low as mid.
I'd rather think about bass fishing next spring than ice fishing right now...

Gee, that time of year I would that the bass should be somewhere in the water.ha ha jk...from what I hear there are bigger fish uplake while more fish down lake

I believe the gentleman ment are you going to fish the Wy or Ut end of the Gorge. The upper or Wy end probably has the larger bass. But where you will find them depends on the type spring we have and the water temps.

Did you fish Navajo last year?
If so you know what the george will be like. It is almost the same elev, and will set up very similar, but will be two weeks later. I have made a lot of friends from AZ and all of the other states, because of the Federation.

This is my first regional...did not get to Navajo last year.
My smallmouth fishing is limited in the desert although I have done a lot of it up in WI and MI over the years.
Will you be at FG?

yes I will be there, I was at yuma in 2010 at martinez. you guys have something special down there. that lower colorado is way cool.
