Anyway, if you typically use baited traps you may like to try one of these along side it, never know what you'll get and will give you some bait ideas as it will catch things more species specific traps will miss.

That's pretty cool I've got one of them mesh-cage type ones. Maybe I'll rig a light system to it. Guess you don't need to worry about shocks or anything - with your light source as such, and using the fiber optic - good call! Wonder if you add an amplifier at the tail end.

I've set a flashlight on top of a water bottle to dispurse the light. Same concept.

Thanks for the vid. Interesting to see what all you can catch. Any thoughts on adding 'vents' to the plastic? Curious how the bigger mesh net worked out?
